I’m also super-excited to tell you that I’m kicking off a free program that I first wrote you about in January. The first Office Hours program is next Thursday.
I’m testing this concept: two open blocks of time each month where anyone who registers at my calendar (registration is free) can show up for group conversation. Here in New England we have a history of Open Town Meetings, where anyone can show up. And remember back in school, when professors would have office hours, where students could show up? Those were my inspiration.
On each Office Hours event I’ll have a up to FOUR one-on-one 5 minute discussion with people that have signed up for that option (you’ll get information on how to ask for one of those one-on-ones in the confirming mail after you sign up for an Office Hours). If no one signs up for a one-on-one, we’ll still have plenty to talk about.
So, head on over to my calendar and click on Office Hours – then you can register for free to join me and the other registrants for the inaugural Office Hours event next Thursday. At the online calendar, you’ll see that Office Hours events are scheduled for the First Friday of each month at 4:00 Eastern, and the Third Thursday of the month at 3:00 Eastern.
